| The Restoule area has a healthy population of black bears with the hunters sighting more bears each year. Recently 77 bears were sighted by 10 hunters and this past year 13 hunters shot 11 bears, and sighted over 40. The method of hunting black bears is over baits using portable tree stands. Many of the baits are in thick bush so be prepared to set up your tree stand anywhere from 10-30 yards from the bait. |

| Duck hunting is a popular sport at our camp. The nearby mashes and islands make our area one of the best duck hunting areas in N. Ont. Ony 5 min. by boat to Cache Bay, which is a large wetland area on route for migratory birds. You will find mallards, blue bills, wood ducks, teals, red heads, ring necks and geese. All cottages heated for comfort. A Modified American Plan is available with meal service in the dining room. Our cedar strip boats camouflage well. Birds such as grouse are nearby. |

| The black bear population in our Bear Management Area (BMA) is very good. Many BMA's have been over hunted with little or no regard for the bear population. Our BMA has been protected. Only 12 hunters (maximum) will be taken for the whole season! We maintain 36 to 42 baits. At least three baits are available for every hunter. We continue baiting after the hunt to determine the Bear population at these sites is always active. Expectations for next years hunt are great! Our BMA is large, a 108 sq. kilometre hunting area for Pozniak's non resident hunters, offering unlimited baiting and hunting sites. |

| Combine fishing and hunting to make a great fall get away. Western Lake Nipissing offers access to thousands of acres of crown land. From Panorama Camp it is only a short drive or boat ride. The area offers an abundance of Grouse, Waterfowl and Deer opportunities. We are located in WMU 42 and within a very short drive to WMU 41. For waterfowl we are in the Central District again a very short drive to the Northern District. Cache Bay and Lake Nipissing are a major stop over for many ducks and geese. The area is prime habitat for Deer and Upland game birds. The fall fishing can be fantastic. The Bass, Pike and Muskie are fattening up for the long winter. |

The abundance of selective logging cuts, marshlands and old growth timber, allow us to have an extended moose season with the first 2 weeks designated for bow hunters only. We also offer grouse and small game hunting. Due to the extensive new growth, deer have adequate shelter and browse, which steadily increases our deer population. Opimika wilderness Camp and Cottages bear management area is over 500 sq km, allowing for both resident and non-resident hunters. Our bear hunting season allows for many a happy hunter. The two month season tells you of the abundance of the bear in our area. | Our Bear Management Area of 103 km2 or 40 sq.mi. surrounds Tomiko Lake. All our tree stands are accessible by ATV/Quad, some by car and always a 5-15 minutes walk. Distance to the bait is 10 to 25 yards for archery, 30 to 50 yards for rifle. Using meat scraps, sweets, fruit and honey, baiting starts in July. We take only a maximum of six hunters per week, to allow everyone a good chance at a bear. Successful hunters are assisted with the transport, skinning and freezing of their bear. |
