| At Halley's Camps, we pride ourselves on our hunts. We offer both rifle and bow moose hunts, as well as black bear and whitetail deer hunts. Our hunts are run in a first class manner with the hunter's comfort, safety and enjoyment being number one concerns. A variety of accommodations and hunt sites are available for you to choose from. Over the last fifteen years our rifle success rate has been 90% with three of the seasons having 100% on large bulls. In the fall of 1989, we were lucky enough to take the largest bull ever recorded in Ontario, scoring 225.5 Boone and Crockett. We have two types of hunts available for black bear. Our fully outfitted hunts are conducted from our lodges located on the English River, which include everything except your personal gear, rifle or bow and ammunition. With the housekeeping plan, your food and guide are not included in the package but we prebait and give you a rundown of what it takes to have a successful hunt. The housekeeping hunts are operated out of our fly-in outposts where you are the only ones there. |
