Our Bear Management Area of 103 km2 or 40 sq.mi. surrounds Tomiko Lake. All our tree stands are accessible by ATV/Quad, some by car and always a 5-15 minutes walk. Distance to the bait is 10 to 25 yards for archery, 30 to 50 yards for rifle. Using meat scraps, sweets, fruit and honey, baiting starts in July. We take only a maximum of six hunters per week, to allow everyone a good chance at a bear. Successful hunters are assisted with the transport, skinning and freezing of their bear. |
