Description:
The black bear population in our Bear Management Area (BMA) is very good. Many BMA's have been over hunted with little or no regard for the bear population. Our BMA has been protected. Only 12 hunters (maximum) will be taken for the whole season! We maintain 36 to 42 baits. At least three baits are available for every hunter. We continue baiting after the hunt to determine the Bear population at these sites is always active. Expectations for next years hunt are great! Our BMA is large, a 108 sq. kilometre hunting area for Pozniak's non resident hunters, offering unlimited baiting and hunting sites. |
